ABOUT
DeVault Family Vineyards was founded in 2000 when Terry DeVault and his wife, Sharon, purchased the 32-acre property, fulfilling Terry's lifelong dream of returning to his farming roots. The family spent the next eight years perfecting the art of grape cultivation and shaping the grounds into the stunning, serene landscape you can come enjoy today.
A new tasting room was added in 2009, and waits to offer guests a comfortable, rustic place to sample the fruits of their labor while overlooking the rolling vineyards. Other on-site amenities include an indoor swimming pool, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, and a stocked fishing pond in the heart of the vineyard. Guests often bring a picnic blanket and carry their choice vino off into the vines to find a private place to relax.
The facilities are also available for private events of any size, with our indoor olympic size pool, childrens play house, swing set, and basketball court, we offer company picnics, family reunions, intimate gatherings to wedding ceremonies and receptions.
The DeVault family takes pride in maintaining the welcoming hospitality of a small family business while still producing the highest quality of wine.
LOCATION
The DeVault Vineyards are conveniently located a half-mile off Route 460 in Concord, Virginia - less than 20 miles from both Lynchburg and Historic Appomattox, both of which offer many attractions and tourist destinations.
HOURS
After May 1st: The Tasting Room is open Monday through Saturday from 11AM - 6PM
Our Private Pool House is available for rental all year around!
Sundays: We do not promise to be here - however, if you call or stop by for a visit and we are in, we will be more than happy to have you!
